Pierre Cardin Curved "Chauffeur's" Watch

 This is a great looking Pierre Cardin Curved "Chauffeur's" watch that winds, sets, and runs great, and keeps excellent time.  It designed to be worn on the side of the wrist, as is seen in other "Driver's" watches.  It is also large for the Pierre Cardin line, so looks good with today's larger watches.  It makes for an interesting conversation piece, and should not be overlooked.

Pierre Cardin was a French designer who worked for the fashion houses of Paquin, Schiaparelli and Christian Dior, and established his own fashion house in 1949.  From 1971-73 he designed for Jaeger, a range of 26 watches in different variations, which perfectly matched his ideas of "Space Age" look.  He continued from 1975-90 to create an entire range of watches, which appeal to the classic ideas of a huge audience.
