Hamilton Transcontinental "A" Automatic Time Zone Watch

Hamilton introduced the Transcontinental "A" in 1956 and was marketed to business travelers. This example is FULLY SERVICED. It winds, sets, and runs great, keeping excellent time. The automatic feature works as well. Times can be read in each time zone simultaneously making it unnecessary to change the time when a time zone is crossed. The market was too small, however, so sales were slow, making the watch quite rare. The hour hand on this example is set to the Eastern Time Zone, but can be moved to any time zone requested (the hand must be removed, and re-positioned). If the purchaser of this fine watch would like the hour hand moved to a different time zone, this can be done before shipping.
