Hamilton Odyssee First Generation Watch With Original Bracelet
Offered is this superb example of a First Generation Hamilton Odyssee watch, with Original Hamilton signed mesh bracelet. It is FULLY SERVICED. It winds, sets, and runs great. The watch keeps excellent time. The date feature works correctly as well, and the automatic feature keeps the watch wound when wearing.
Hamilton was commissioned in 1966 to make the prop watch for Stanley Kubrick's "2001-A Space Odyssey" movie. Hamilton made a commemorative version of the watch in 1969, changing the name on the dial to the French spelling "Odyssee" for copyright reasons. It is very difficult to find an example in this fine condition.
