Hamilton Odyssee Watch Second Generation
Offered is this superb example of a Hamilton Odyssee watch, with. It winds, sets, and runs great, keeping excellent time. The date feature works correctly as well, and the automatic feature keeps the watch wound when wearing.
Hamilton was commissioned in 1966 to make the prop watch for Stanley Kubrick's "2001-A Space Odyssey" movie. Hamilton made a commemorative version of the watch in 1969, changing the name on the dial to the French spelling "Odyssee" for copyright reasons. There were two versions: The first, with triangular hands and mesh bracelet, and the second with baton hands and NSA bracelet (this example). It is very difficult to find one in this fine condition.
