Hamilton Electric Victor Silver Dial Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Victor watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page171, it was released in May of 1957, with an original price of $100 with metal band, and $89.50 with leather strap. It is signed on the dial, case, crown, and movement. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
The Victor has a unique design with two square corners, two rounded ones, as well as offset lugs, and the crown at the 1 o'clock position. The larger size is nice for this era watch.
