Hamilton Electric Victor II Watch
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Victor II watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 172, it was released in December 1961 with an original price of $120 with metal band and $110 with leather strap. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day. It has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. It has just had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
The Victor II is totally unrelated to the original Victor, with the case tilted to one side, resembling a football. Since it was released in 1961, it is only found with the 505 movement. With an estimated production of 3,500 it is an uncommon find.
