Hamilton Electric Uranus Watch

$795

Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Uranus watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 191, it was released in July 1959 with an original price of $110.00. It is quadruple signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. Originally this watch only came with a 500 or 500A movement, but it has been updated to a 505. It has just had a NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.

The Uranus is a surprisingly scarce Hamilton Electric, with an estimated production of only about 800. That is half the number of the rare Altair, so it is definitely a great find. The Uranus has an Original Finish Dial and case. This would make a fine addition to a Hamilton Electric collection.
