Hamilton Electric Skip Jack Watch With Rare RR Style Dial
Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Stainless Steel Skip Jack watch. Pictured in Rene Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 190, it was released in December of 1961 with original price of $79.50. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day, and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
This is a very uncommon Hamilton Electric in that it has the Railroad style dial. It differs in that it does not say RR Special under Hamilton on the dial.
