Hamilton Count-Down Chrono-Matic GMT Caliber 14 Watch

$7,495

Offered is this great looking Recently Serviced Hamilton Chrono-Matic GMT Count-Down with world's first automatic chronograph introduced in 1969. This model was introduced in 1972, and listed as Chronomatic "E." It was priced at $250, the most expensive of Hamilton's "Wrist Chronograph Series." The watch winds, sets, and runs great, and keeps excellent time, and the chronograph feature works flawlessly. The Caliber 14 was the 24 Hour GMT version of the Caliber 11, which was a collaborative effort between Hamilton, Heuer, Breitling, and Buren. Each company released a version of this movement, and it can be easily distinguished by having the winding/setting crown opposite the chronograph pushers.

Important features to note on these watches include the crowns, pushers, and bezel finish.  The bezel has a very unique matte finish, and this example is in superb unpolished condition with razor sharp edges.  The anodized finish on the crowns and pushers is often worn to the steel below, and this example is in near perfect condition regarding the crowns/pushers.
