Hamilton Electric Spectra Original Finish Black Dial Watch

$1,695

Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) 14K Solid Gold Hamilton Electric Spectra watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on pages 157-158, and 201, it was released in July of 1957 with an original price of $150.00. It is signed on the dial, case, and movement. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.

The Spectra was the third watch in the Electric series, following the Ventura and Van Horn. It has a great asymmetrical touch, in that the case is broader and thicker at the 12 position. The lines radiating out from the dial at the 6 position compliment the case shape and give this watch a classic look that is sure to turn heads. As a plus, it has had a NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
