Hamilton Electric Spectra II Watch

$695

Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Spectra II watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 159, it was released in June of 1963 with an original price of $110 (metal band only). It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. As a plus, it has had a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.

Like many other Hamilton Electric models with the same name, the Spectra II looks nothing like the original Spectra, and is a very uncommon model as apparently very few were made.
