Hamilton Electric Black Dial Vantage Watch

$895

Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Vantage watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 162, it was released in December, 1958, with an original price of $95 with leather strap and $100 with metal band. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position. It has just had a NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so it will run virtually as it did from the factory.

It's very interesting that this Hamilton watch has an engraving on the back for 35 years service for Westclox.  It definitely shows that other companies had a lot of respect for the quality of Hamilton watches.
