Hamilton Electric Converta I Watch 18K Bezel Ring

$995

Offered is this FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Stainless Converta I watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 178, it was released in August of 1958 with original price of $140 with metal band and $125 with leather strap.

The Converta I is distinguished by its 18K solid yellow gold bezel and is quite scarce.

It is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown, and strap. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day. It has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.
