Hamilton Electric Summit Watch 14K Gold

$995

Here's your chance to own a FULLY SERVICED (ultrasonic wash, rinse, and lubrication) Hamilton Electric Summit watch. Pictured in René Rondeau's book "The Watch Of The Future" on page 191, it was released in October of 1960 with an original price of $175.00. It is signed on the dial, case, movement, and crown. It runs great and keeps time to well under 30 seconds variation per day and has a brand new battery just installed. The hack function works properly, and the watch starts right up each time the crown is pushed in from the setting position to the running position.

The Summit is a great looking Solid 14K Gold Hamilton Electric that is surprisingly scarce. There is insufficient data, according to René Rondeau, to estimate its total production. It has unique "spider lugs" which still have very nice points indicating that the watch has seen little time on the wrist, and no heavy buffing. The dial has two interesting brushed areas curving with the markers from the one to five position and seven to eleven positions. As a plus, it has a BRAND NEW OLD STOCK D-PIN installed in the balance, so that it will run virtually as it did from the factory.
