Wittnauer Electro-Chron 4760 Black Dial Watch
Offered is this great looking Wittnauer Electro-Chron watch with extremely rare black dial. Wittnauer was one of the many marketers of the Landeron, the first Swiss Electric movement, introduced in 1961. It is Fully Serviced. The watch sets and runs great, keeps excellent time, and will come with a brand new battery newly installed. It also has the advantage of the 4760 movement which added a "hacking" feature to stop the movement and disconnect the battery lead when in the setting position, thus preserving the movement and battery life when not wearing the watch.
These were futuristic watches, and the watch companies certainly did their best to capitalize on their uniqueness.
