Wittnauer Electro-Chron Cleveland Indians Electric
This is a great looking Wittnauer Electro-Chron watch, one of the many marketers of the Landeron 4750, the first Swiss Electric movement, introduced in 1961. It is Fully Serviced, sets, and runs great, and keeps excellent time, and will come with a brand new battery freshly installed. Examples with MLB logo dials have been seen with New York Yankee & Cleveland Indians dials, and were engraved on the back, and given to players in "Old Timer's" games. This example is not engraved on the back, so was probably awarded to a Cleveland Indians employee. The watch has a large size case, so goes well with today's fashion of larger watches.
These were futuristic watches, and the watch companies certainly did their best to capitalize on their uniqueness. This would be a great watch to add to a vintage Electric Watch collection.
